I watched as Ebay launched in 1995. It burgeoned and three years later went public. It made sense that a site that provides ease and utility in the online auction arena would do extraordinarily well.

Following my own interest and passion for collectibles, and based on what I witnessed with Ebay, I had the vision that a niche auction service exclusively for the collectibles industry would do well.

Thereafter, I started working with a group of IT developers to create auction software that would be focused and user friendly.

What started and was perceived as a much less complicated project ended after two years with auction software that was advanced for its time. Launched in 2001, Create Auction became the first auction software exclusively for the collectibles industry.

I received a very positive reception from the first five companies I initially approached. In fact, two decades later, they ALL are still Create Auction clients. Along the way I have learned much about how to make our continually growing community of clients do better. It boils down to three key elements.

The first element is making sure that our software is state-of-the-art. Our technical team does a regular review to make sure there are continual improvements that go beyond where things needs to be to deliver superior performance. Ultimately, in 2020 we initiated a whole new platform that provided a quantum leap in technology and a major benefit to our clients.

It provides new features that make a big difference in performance. We are proud that Create Auction is a technology leader. It is our continual attention to detail that demonstrates our caring for the product that we deliver.

The second element is the service component. From the start our objective was to be the best not the biggest. That dictates how we do business. I take primary responsibility for our relationship with every account driven by a passion to help each client achieve progressively greater success, it is my objective to make sure that each client feels like they are Create Auction's only client.

That can involve a lot of extra servicing but when it results in greater productivity for a client, it is effort well spent. I am always available for direct contact 24/7/365 and always present to provide support at every auction closing.

Good enough is just not good enough—we strive to go beyond client satisfaction to create client delight. We have a very talented team of dedicated professionals but no sales effort and our growth has come from referrals and those who are seeking the best in our field.

The last element we offer is as important as the preceding two. We are not just continually concerned about assuring the security of our client's sites—we are obsessed with it! Times have never been more difficult for security concerns and we spend the time and resources to keep up with security technology for the benefit our clients.

We incorporate security best practices but work to identify and implement security next practices which stay a step ahead of problems and make every effort to keep our client's sites ultra-secure. We understand the great responsibility we shoulder to protect our client's assets and that drives our actions.

By focusing our resources on these three elements that exemplify our marketplace offering, we have built a firm that we are proud of. As one client told us, Create Auction was the first and rightfully remains the foremost!

It has been a wonderful and amazing journey as I have had the opportunity to make new friends and help create substantial incremental success for clients. We have had over $1 Billion in successful sales settled through our platform.

As we are now working toward reaching our second billion, we will work with like-minded businesses who have the desire to create new levels of success.
